Health of Discipline
TLRP collaborated and supported a wide range of other UK initiatives designed to enhance research capacity in Education.
These included sectoral organizations such as the HEA, LSIS, NTRP and RTweb. Such organizations have developed resources and activities to support practitioner research.
Initiatives in each UK country included:
The Applied Educational Research Scheme, in Scotland (AERS)
The Welsh Education Research Network (WERN)
The Northern Ireland Education Research Forum (NIERF)
The Social and Professional Network for Early Career Researchers in Education (SPNECRE)
The Teacher Education Research Network (TERN)
This work contributed to ESRC’s work to maintain the health education as a social science. |
