Introduction
The TLRP Office is able to provide the services of the Media Fellow
and to email finalised press-releases to a wide range of education
journalists. Wherever possible, projects and other investments should
issue press releases in this way. There is a standard template for
a TLRP press release available from the TLRP office . This should always be used to ensure correct
attributions, notes and contact information.
TLRP will maintain its independence at all times. However, under
the terms of funding, TLRP will inform HEFCE of the content of its
press releases 24 hours before the embargo of each release ends.
Appropriate government departments and agencies in each part of
the UK will be informed at the same time. As a contribution to democratic
debate, press releases will also be sent to all major UK political
parties.
