N.B. TLRP generic project work ended in September 2009. The below information is for reference only.
'Video-assets' will provide
services to all TLRP projects in the creation of short video clips
to communicate 'key findings'.
'Video-assets' aims creation of digitally produced sets of video
clips that represent and communicate the key findings of each TLRP
project, and will thus support and enhance the development of dispersed
communities of warranted good practice.
The specific aims are:
To increase collaboration between researchers and practitioners
To foster the production of a new genre of publication entitled
'video-asset'
To present practitioners with 'images of the possible' through
the viewing of these 'video assets'
To harness the potential of ICT to engage practitioners and key
'change agents'
To help teachers, through the use of ICT, to gain access to and
connect with relevant and useful research findings
To create a collaborative culture where ideas, practices, research
findings and educational theory are exchanged
To aid the development of a network of research-practice partnerships
locally, nationally and internationally
This initiative is led by Ros Sutherland, director of the Interactive
Education project. For further information, please contact:
