This study will explore how the needs of pupils are accommodated
when they transfer from primary to secondary school to ensure levels
of attainment are maintained. Such will necessitate exploring the
influence of home-school contact, school provision, and LEA policies
upon their progress. Analysed results will be translated into practical
suggestions for policy development aimed at enhancing learner achievement.
