The TLRP Research Training Fellowship (RTF) Scheme
These fellowships are targeted at serving educational practitioners
(e.g. school teachers/ heads, FE principals / lecturers / managers,
LEA or other policy advisors, professional trainers etc) who wish
to study for a research doctorate whilst continuing in their current
post / profession. The fellowships provide funding for the part-time
release of the fellow to facilitate research training and completion
of a research doctorate, plus part-time tuition fees and some associated
research and other costs. Each fellowship is attached to one of
the Phase I or II project / network teams or the Research Capacity
Building Network currently being funded under the Programme (see
above) and has a mentor / supervisor drawn from the project teams.
