ATLAS.ti Training Workshops |
|||||
| School
of Education, University of Birmingham Owing
to the enthusiastic response to the first event, the RCBN has organised
a second ATLAS.ti one-day training workshop. Christina
Silver will also be leading this event. We would like
to thank Professor Harry Daniels for agreeing to host this event. Following requests from several TLRP researchers, the RCBN organised a one-day ATLAS.ti training workshop. This was held at the School of Education, at the University of Leeds, on the 25th July, 2003. Christina Silver, from the CAQDAS Networking Project, at the University of Surrey, led the event. The RCBN is very grateful for the assitance given by Professor John Leach and Louisa Parry in the organisation of this event. ATLAS.ti is a powerful software package for the visual qualitative analysis of large bodies of textual, graphical and audio or video data. It offers a variety of tools for accomplishing the tasks associated with any systematic approach to “soft” data. ATLAS.ti helps you to uncover the complex phenomena hidden in your qualitative data, offers a powerful and intuitive environment for coping with the inherent complexity of tasks and data, and keeps you focused on the data under analysis. |
