The core strategy of TLRP’s Phase 2 Capacity Building activities is to work with authentic social networks of educational research communities in order better to embed capacity building activity in sustainable ways. The importance of such a ‘social practices’ model of capacity building was one of the key outcomes of the work of the Phase 1 Research Capacity Building Network at Cardiff University.
TLRP also works in partnership with the Scottish Applied Educational Research Scheme which is developing research capacity through fostering networks researching Learners, Learning and Teaching; Schools Management and Governance and Schools and Social Capital.
