Teacher education

TLRP has supported a number of specific initiatives to support research informed teacher education.

The Teacher Education Bibliography is a resource developed by the Teacher Education Group (TEG) in collaboration with the TLRP, BERA, UCET, and ESCalate. Information on how to use the resource can be found here.   This resource will also be found on the BERA website, with updates from 2010.

The Teacher Education Research Network (TERN) has established a regional network for research capacity building in the North West of England.

The annotated C-Trip bibliography was produced through a TLRP thematic investment on teachers’ lives and professional practices.  It reviews the latest evidence and understanding.

The Teacher Training Resource Bank (TTRB) provides access to the research & evidence base informing teacher education. All materials are quality assured through a rigorous process of academic scrutiny and monitoring undertaken by a team of expert teacher educators.  TTRB showcases a wide range of TLRP materials.
