Sectoral Overviews: Primary

Learning and teaching in primary schools: insights from TLRP by Mary James and Andrew Pollard provided an overview of the projects and thematic work of the TLRP, as it related to learning and teaching in the primary phase. This text was a contribution to a wide-ranging review of primary education: ‘The condition and future of primary education in England’.

The Primary Review was based at the University of Cambridge, directed by Robin Alexander and supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. They produced a series of 32 interim reports over three years, available from the Primary Review website.
