TLRP is strongly committed to working, throughout the research process,with potential users of the research. User engagement is facilitated in three main ways.

1. Practitioners working alongside researchers on projects

2. National organisations advising and supporting research projects

3. Liaison activity by members of the TLRP Directors' Team

Through professional partnerships between researchers and users the relevance, significance, quality and impact of each project's research can be enhanced. Indeed, research users often become wonderfully effective 'champions' for the outputs of research activity.
