Liaison activity

Members of the Programme Directors' Team drew on their experience to facilitate research and liaison in specific educational sectors, as indicated below.

Directors visited selected organisations in each sector annually and developed relationships with key research mediators.  Events and publications of particular interest to colleagues working in such sectors were organised. Examples include Policy Task Groups on 'Personalised Learning' and '14-19 Education'.  TLRP Commentaries were often a product of such activities.

Sectoral liaison work was enhanced by TLRP 's policy on practitioner engagement and  the Programme’s links with national organisations.  This culminated in more effective impact activities.
